Bobs Red Mill Gluten Free Tapioca Flour - 500g also known as tapioca starch is a product obtained from the crushed and dried pulp of cassava root and is one of the most versatile starches available. May be used in gluten free baking recipes, including bread as it lends a springy texture, promotes browning and makes crispy crusts. As a food thickener in stews, sauces and desserts, especially puddings. Mild flavour and colourless food thickener will not alter any flavour nor make lumps in the process of cooking.
Use with other alternative flours like coconut flour, cassava flour, potato starch and arrowroot starch with xanthan gum for best results.
